Just because Zendaya is 5'10" doesn't mean she's not little -- as in someone's little sis! The Shake It Up star revealed that she's super tight with the X Factor judge, even though Zendaya towers over the petite, 5'3" songstress.
In a new interview with
MTV, Zendaya said Demi is like her big sister in the biz -- and considering Demi's been through a lot and has a ton of experience and wisdom to offer, we think she made a great choice in role models!
So what happened when they met for the first time?
"She was just saying that she was very supportive of me and she wanted to know if there is anything that I needed or if I needed someone to talk to, because she definitely went through what I'm dealing with," Zendaya explained. "She really did do this. This is what she had to do as well, and it's nice to have almost a big sister, mentor, someone to talk to because this is not the normal teenage situation. If I was a normal kid, I'd be at school right now, but it's our normal. It's nice to know that other people understand."
Demi had equally kind words for Zendaya, too, calling her a "beautiful person" and offering some great feedback. "My advice would just be to not let anything get you jaded," Demi said. "Just really appreciate. Be thankful for everything."
