Here's some he-uge 1D love news! After reports of them texting and talking a few months ago,Niall Horan and Demi Lovato have finally taken their relationship to a new level -- they met for the first time just last week at the VMAs, and afterwards, they dined together at a Mexican restaurant -- just the two of them. Right now, sources say the two are just friends, but we love that they finally went on a dinner date together!

One of our favorite parts of every awards show? The cool fashion choices! The stars made bold statements in black and white this year at the 2012 VMAs!
Taylor Swift opted for a classy white pantsuit instead of a dress, Miley Cyrus showed off her mile-high hairdo and a unique black dress. RiRi went for a classic look in a pretty white frock, while BFF Katy Perry opted for a sheer floral outfit.

Last night was one of the biggest nights of the year in entertainment -- the Video Music Awards! If you were following our tweets, you know we were having the time of our lives! M was right there for all of the action -- from the fab fashions to the amazing performances.
The biggest stars of the night were without a doubt the cuties from One Direction! Not only did the guys look totally suave (hello, Louis' new hair!) but they snagged three awards and gave a rockin' performance of "One Thing". Yep, one thing's for sure...these guys are getting bigger and bigger every day!
Other big winners included Rihanna for her "We Found Love" video, Demi Lovato and Katy Perry. For a full list, scroll down!
Unfortch, some of our faves like Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Carly Rae Jepsen didn't take home any awards. Still, Justin showed that he was in good spirits by tweeting: #goodguysalwayswin. We're still so proud of all of you!
We also loved seeing the Fierce Five gymnasts present Alicia Keys' performance -- especially when Gabby Douglas came out and did some gymnastics! And it was super-sweet to see Katy Perry and Rihanna's close BFF relaysh while watching them sit together the whole night.. aww!
And of course, we were obsessed with the brand new clip from Breaking Dawn -- Part 2. The cast introduced the clip and we can't wait for November 16!

With the VMAs coming up this Thursday, competition is heating up in the category of "Most Share-Worthy Video" presented by Bing. One Direction and Justin Bieber are neck and neck for the top slot for their vids, "What Makes You Beautiful" and "Boyfriend", with other nominees Beyonce, Carly Rae Jepsen and Gotye trailing far behind.
Over the weekend, there was some dramz after Bing was sending lots of love over Twitter to 1D -- Beliebers felt that it gave the guys an unfair advantage in the race. After a heated debate between Directioners and Beliebers, JB Tweeted to try and clear up the drama:

It's been an amazing week for Taylor -- "Never Ever" broke the record for digital sales by a female artist with a whopping 623,000 copies bought by fans! She tweeted: "I want to thank you guys for giving me my biggest first week ever with "We are Never". I can't stop smiling. You guys are amazing!!" Congrats, Tay Tay -- you deserve it!

New Jemi news! First, the pair re-connected on Twitter after winning a "Do Something - Charity Song" for their duet, "Make A Wave" at the Do Something awards. Then, just this weekend, when the exes and former best friends finally came face to face on the VMA red-carpet, they happily posed for pictures together, and took to catching up!
In a recent radio interview, Joe dished about how much he enjoyed seeing Demi at the VMAs: "She's really sweet. I got to see her and we got to catch up a little bit on the carpet. We're going to try and find another time and not in all the craziness of the red carpet to be able to catch up. I'm happy to see that she's doing well and it was good to see her again."

Many of you tweeted us @m_magazine last night when Justin Bieber won his award for "Best Male Video" at the VMAs. Most of you were totally excited that he took home the prize -- but bummed he forgot to thank his fans. We've been waiting patiently for The Hunger Games, which hits theaters March 2012, but we just can't seem to get enough of Katniss, Peeta, and Gale! Thankfully, Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Katniss, will be introducing a brand-new never-before-seen clip of HG at this year's MTV Video Music Awards!
In addition to the clip, the VMAs will feature performances by Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Adele, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown! OMG so exciting!
