The new season kicks off a whole summer after the last one left off, so a lot has changed for the girls -- and we can't wait to see! The first official trailer will be available tonight on ABCFamily.com at 9pm ET. Get the scoop here:
On tonight's all new episode of Pretty Little Liars, a very familiar face will return to Rosewood -- Spencer's ex-BF, Toby Cavanaugh! Last we left Toby, he found out that Spencer was dating hot British doc, Wren. The thing is, Spencer totally loves Toby, she was just trying to protect him from "A"!
We recently chatted on the phone with Keegan Allen, who plays Toby, about his return to the show, Toby's "mission", and of course, "A". Check it out here:
Q: Hey, Keegan! We've missed you on the show -- we're so glad Toby's coming back. Can you give us some scoop about what's going to happen now that he's returned to Rosewood?
Keegan: He's on a mission right now. He has reasons for leaving besides finding out that Spencer was dating Wren. He's dealing with something that will benefit him and Spencer.
Q: Hmm, sounds interesting! Speaking of Spoby, why are you rooting for them to be together?
Keegan: Toby's very thoughtful -- he just really cares a lot about Spencer a lot, and he loves her. And it's a real love, it's a real connection that they both share.
Q: So true! So, you and Troian Bellisario (who plays Spencer) have tons of romantic scenes together. Does that ever get awkward?
Keegan: We have to do those scenes many times, and it's funny, 'cause we'll be like, "oh, we have to kiss today" and we'll be eating garlic chips or something. And we're like really good friends, so we'll laugh about it and then we'll go in and do our job. We treat it very professionally and we're really good friends, so it's always fun and she's a really cool person and it's awesome to work with someone who is a really good friend.
Q: Sounds amazing! Are you close with anyone else in the cast?
Keegan: I'm really close with everybody. I've been really grateful and blessed to be with an amazing group of people. The personalities don't clash at all -- everybody's really thoughtful and cool. We all remember each other's birthdays, we try to hang out as much as we can. It's so crazy, everyone shares common interests. We're just like a big family. I feel like the girls are part of my family. It's unbelievable.
Q: So here's the million dollar question -- who do you think fans would be most shocked to find out was "A"?
Keegan: I've got to be honest with you, anyone who is going to be "A" is going to be shocking. If you picked any character it would be a shock because at this point, everyone is suspect. Everyone, including the girls. It's so out of control. When they get revealed, there's going to be so many mixed emotions from everyone. Everyone has their own ideas. A lot of people are going to be like, 'yes! I'm so stoked' or 'no, I can't believe it, that's not possible.' It's going to raise so much attention, in a good way. You're never going to expect it and if you did expect it, it's going to blow your mind.
OMG! We can't wait to see for ourselves! Watch tonight's episode of Pretty Little Liars for the return of Toby and Jenna and then check back here tomorrow for our weekly recap. Here's a heartbreaking sneak peek of tonight's episode:
Let's dish:
-What did you think of our Q&A with Keegan? Are you a Spoby fan?
This week's PLL was all about some father/daughter bonding! That's right -- it was time for Rosewood's annual father/daughter dance, which ended up being the scene of some super-intense moments. Turns out, each liar had some dramz with their dad.
Spencer's dealing with some serious family drama. She snoops through Mr. Hasting's stuff and find out that he did pay Alison off (and had LOTS of photos of her!) Turns out, he was trying to protect creepy Melissa. Mel was sending Alison threatening texts before she died, but the girls realize that she's not A. Still, that doesn't mean she'll be winning any sister of the year awards.
Meanwhile, Aria and her pop are barely talking thanks to the whole Ezria thing! Still, they resolve things a bit, even though Aria says she's not a little girl anymore. Hanna's dad is no where to be seen, but her mom's been snooping around with Officer Wilden to figure out A's deal.
Finally, Emily's dad shares the saddest news of the night -- he's being deployed to Afghanistan! Aww, poor Em! They share some sweet moments before they have to say goodbye for a long time.
The two major shockers of the episode? 1) Maya is still missing! We're SO hoping she's OK. 2) The girls' one connection to A, Jonah, leads them to a doll story with the totally creepy kinda dolls that A had sent to the liars. Scary with a capital S!
With only two more episodes before the big A reveal, check out the trailer to next week's new episode:
Let's dish:
-All four girls dealt with major parent drama this week -- how do you deal with having fights with your parents? What do you think happened to Maya? Are you excited to see Toby return next week?
1. Mona is getting texts from "A", too! This is very interesting, because many people (ourselves included) have suspected that she might be "A"! When Hanna finds out, she starts confiding in her about other horrible things "A" has done. Still, we're not totally convinced that Mona is innocent. However, she was a pretty good friend to Hanna this episode and protected her from the police, so she gets at least a few points in our book.
2. Melissa is back! Spencer's big sis is back after a long break, and she's looking guiltier than ever. Caleb uncovers a tape from the night of Ali's death and it turns out Melissa was there! Yikes! This puts Spencer in a bad position -- her friends want to go to the police, but Spencer wants to hear her sister out. Melissa says she has lots to explain, but we're not so sure we buy it.
3. Mama Montgomery is a great mother. After some super-sad Ezria moments, we thought it might be the end for their relationship. However, Aria's mom decides to hear them out. Ezria fans -- looks like there's still some hope!
4. Maya's got the cops after her? At the end of the episode, Emily gets some interesting visitors -- the police! They say they're there because of Maya, but we won't find out what the deal is quite yet. Hope everything is OK!
Wowza -- such a big episode! Be sure to check back here next week for our recap, and check out the preview to the new episode here... only 3 weeks until "A" day!
Let's dish:
-What would you do if you were in Spencer's position and you had to choose between your friends and your family? Do you trust Mona? How about Melissa?
Hey M Girls!
Wow...Pretty Little Liars keeps getting crazier and crazier each week! In last night's episode, the girls got closer than ever to finding out A's identity. It turns out that the guy that Ali (or should we say, Vivian) was in touch with was hired to trace A's cell phone -- and he has the answer! Unfortch, he asked the girls for $2000 for the info.
Meanwhile, Spencer's still freaking out over the fact that she's related to Jason. Turns out Ali blackmailed Spencer's dad for LOTS of money to keep her from revealing the truth about Jason.
In the love department, things aren't looking great for the girls. Emily and Maya are fighting, which is making Em one sad gal. Aria found out that her friend Holden is a) really into martial arts and b) suffering from a heart condition. When A leaves Aria's dad with the address for her secret date with Ezra, it looks like Aria could be in huge trouble. Luckily, Aria bails on the date to check on Holden and saves Ezria from a major fight with Papa Montgomery.
However, A's big target of the week is Hanna's BF, Caleb. Last week, A snatched Caleb's laptop to frame him for stealing some top secret school files. The police (a.k.a creepy Garrett) almost get Caleb in trouble, but Hanna comes through in the end and deletes the files to protect Caleb. Phew!
Check out the preview for next week's big episode:
Make sure to check back next Tuesday for our weekly PLL recap!
Let's dish:
-In this episode, Caleb gets framed for something he didn't do. What would you do if you were in that situation? Do you think Jason is trust-worthy?
Last night's episode of Pretty Little Liars was so intense that it had us at the edge of our seats! After last week's crazy photo texting dramz, the Rosewood High staff decides to throw a night called "Truth Up" for students to work out all of their problems with each other. Of course, that means Hanna and her evil step-sister Kate need to deal with their MAJOR issues. Hanna discovers that Kate sent out the picture by herself just to get some attention!
Meanwhile, Aria tried to learn more about what her "fake BF" Holden is hiding. Luckily, he was there to save her from a scary run-in with Noel -- that guy is super-creepy! Emily found her way back onto the swimming team with the help of an unlikely pal, Mona.
The girls also found out that the receipt from last episode led to a red raincoat of Ali's. In the coat pocket they found a phone number and arranged a meetup to get some answers. Sounds scary!
However, the biggest reveal of the night involved Spencer and Jason. Turns out the reason he's been so intense about chatting up her dad is that he's HIS DAD TOO! That's right... Jason and Spencer are related! WOWZA!
We can't wait for next week's episode. Check out the promo here:

Let's dish:
-How would you deal with a total mean girl like Hanna's step-sister, Kate? Were you SHOCKED when you found out about Jason and Spencer being related?
With only 7 more weeks until the big "A" reveal, Pretty Little Liars keeps getting juicier each week! Last night's episode picked up right where we left off. Spencer, Aria and Emily all went behind Hanna's back to help her BF, Caleb, uncover dangerous info about "A". This leads to some BFF drama between Hanna and Spencer, but they hug and work it out by the end -- aww!
This week, the girls discovered that Alison had a fake ID for her dark-haired alter-ego, Vivian Darkbloom. The clue leads them to a hidden receipt that belonged to Ali, but they have no idea what the receipt was for.
Meanwhile, Hanna's evil step-sister, Kate, is back in town and started school at Rosewood. Spencer realizes she knows her from camp, and has a pic of her with embarrassing boils all over her body. At the end of the episode, "A" sends out the pic from Hanna's phone, which will cause some major drams!
On the romance front, Aria's trying to make it work with Ezra, but she seems to be getting closer to Holden. Spencer hasn't heard anything from Toby since he left town, and Emily and Maya say "I love you" for the first time. Hanna finally confides in Caleb about "A" and tells him secrets she never told anyone before. Too cute!

Here in the M office, we cannot stop talking about last night's new episode of Pretty Little Liars and we want to hear your thoughts on what's going down in Rosewood these days! (Warning: Spoilers ahead, so if you haven't watched the episode yet, read this after you do!)
The episode was filled with romance, mystery and of course, lots of texts from A. After A hurts Toby (poor guy!) Spencer decides she needs to end things with him to keep him safe. She asks Emily to lie and tell him that she's been dating the cute British doc, Wren! Toby looks SO hurt when he hears the news, but it might be for the best.
Meanwhile, Aria and Ezra finally reunite! After they came clean about their relationship, it's been harder than ever for them to see each other! But this week we got some AMAZING Ezria moments! When Aria sneaks off to meet up with him, they share some epic kisses in the rain -- aww! Aria says she has a plan to keep them together, but we'll just have to wait and see!
Finally, Hanna's hottie BF, Caleb is getting closer and closer to finding out more about A -- he even uncovers a scary vid of Alison on her last night alive...yikes! Caleb and the rest of the girls decide to keep digging, but to keep it a secret from Hanna. Uh-oh! Looks like some major friend drama is coming up.

It's Monday, which means another brand new episode of Pretty Little Liars -- and it also means we're one week closer to finding out who "A" is! OMG!
Last week's episode had us literally sitting at the edge of our seats. Hanna threw a surprise b-day bash for her BF, Caleb, but ended up getting the ultimate surprise: her guy bud, Lucas seems to be working with "A"! At the end of the episode, Lucas took Hanna out on a super-creepy boat ride and then he disappeared into the lake! Hanna made it out okay (phew!) but no one knows what happened to Lucas!
Meanwhile, things haven't been going too well for Aria and Ezra ever since they came clean about their relationship to Aria's 'rents. Plus, there's a new boy named Holden who wants to be Aria's BF! Yikes!
Watch Holden ask Aria on a date in this clip from tonight's episode:
