With the 2012 AMAs just two days away, Bieber needs a date ASAP! Yesterday, he tweeted to his mom: "@pattiemallette miss u. love u. wanna be my date this weekend? :)"

Justin's mom retweeted him and replied: "I would be honored! Love u sooo much!!"

Hmm...interesting!

The award show will air Sunday on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.

While answering fan questions on MTV, Justin revealed more deets on the sweet song he penned for his mom. He spilled: "I wrote a song for my mom. But I'm going to put it out on Mother's Day. [It's] about the struggles, I say in the song. She had me at like the age I am now. [It's about] just the struggles she went through and how brave she was, and I think the world needed to know that."

So sweet. Justin also tweeted more info on the song:

After Selena announced that her mom and stepdad were expecting their first baby on Thanksgiving, sadly, Sel's mom suffered a miscarriage and lost the baby a little over a week ago. Fans rallied around Sel, sending her tweets and cards, and Selena took to her Facebook page just 30 minutes ago on behalf of her family to thank everyone. Sel wrote:

"Belated Merry Christmas everybody.. I can't thank you enough for all of your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate every one of you.. I love you all so much and we hope you and your family had a beautiful Christmas!

Sadly, Selena Gomez's mom, Mandy, has reportedly suffered a miscarriage. E! online reports that Selena cancelled her Saturday show in Chicago and her Sunday show in Seattle to be by her mom and stepdad's side. She learned of the news while she was in the audience at Power 106's Cali Christmas 2011 concert in LA. Immediately, she left the show to rush back home. Sel's rep confirmed that she cancelled because of a "family emergency."

Demi Lovato tweeted some love to her BFF Selena, saying "I love you @selenagomez"

Forget those rumors you may have heard about Justin's mom not approving of his relationship with Selena! Just last night, Mama Bieber, tweeted a sweet message to both Selena and her BFF, Taylor Swift. Check it out!

Awww, totally sweet. We're so happy to hear that JB's mom is a Sel fan. "Jelena" wouldn't have much chance of making it if not. After all, Justin has said: "I wouldn't bring home a girl unless my Mom would approve. You don't bring the bad girls home to Mom."
