Justin Bieber has been receiving a good deal of negative press on his current tour, and his pal Carly Rae Jepsen has something to say:

Carly told E! News, "All I see is an incredibly hard worker and a man who's just passionate about what he does. Just putting it on himself to take on a lot all at once. I think if anything I'm inspired by how hard he works, and I definitely want to add that to my own mantra as just like working really hard and doing my thing."

How sweet is that? We always love when friends stick up for one another, and we agree -- Justin is definitely a hard worker.

Miley's Advice to Justin Bieber

In a recent interview with Elle UK, Miley Cyrus had a little advice for Justin Bieber, who is always taking photos and sharing his life over Twitter and Instagram. After making some adjustments to her own online presence and becoming a much more private person, Miley thinks Justin should put down his iPhone camera and instead take snapshots with his mind.Miley Advice Bieber.jpg Miley explains, "I don't remember my Hannah Montana movie premiere. I don't remember being there. All I remember from that night is that I stopped and got a strawberry milkshake beforehand. That's all. It's crazy. You think you're in the present, but you're not."

What do you think? Would you be mad if Justin listened to Miley's advice and saw the world through his own eyes instead of his iPhone camera's lens? Or would it be good for him to live in the present and keep some memories for himself?

WATCH: Justin Bieber Talks About His Favorite Teacher

On a recent episode of "Real Change: Artists for Education," Justin told us about the special person at his school who inspired him to never give up. Mr. Monteith, Justin's former English teacher, would even encourage the budding star to bring his guitar to class and perform for his classmate. How cool is that? Check out the video:

Justin Bieber's Screensaver is Still Selena Gomez?

How adorable is that? Despite Justin's and Selena's on-again, off-again relationship, Bieber was spotted with an iPhone that still has a photo of Selena as its lock screen. We're a little confused, because Selena mentioned being single last week on Ellen, but then Justin tweeted (and quickly deleted) the above photo of the two looking like quite the couple in Norway. Are they together? Are they not together? Either way, we just think it's sweet that Justin still kept Selena as his screensaver, even when they temporarily weren't together.

Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lawrence, and Justin Bieber on Being Starstruck

Did you catch Selena Gomez on yesterday's episode of Ellen? In addition to a great performance of "Come and Get It" in the prettiest purple maxi dress we ever did see, Selena used her interview as an opportunity to tell Ellen all about her starstruck run-in with Brad Pitt at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards.

"They knocked on my door and they said, 'Brad Pitt would like to come in,' and I was like, 'He can come in.' I was trying to play it cool and be really nice." Surprisingly, Gomez couldn't play it "cool" for more than a few minutes -- "As soon as he walked out, I ran and I hid under the craft service table for, like, two minutes because I couldn't believe it was happening."

How sweet is that? After watching Selena tell her story, we wanted to see which other young stars have endured that familiar starstruck feeling. The results were surprising!

Jennifer Lawrence had a similar experience as Selena Gomez, except with John Stamos, the actor best known as Uncle Jesse from Full House. After running into Stamos at a party, the Oscar-winning actress explained, "I didn't want to meet him because when I meet people it's never good, and I was avoiding him. But then my friends brought him over because my friends are jerks, and I started really freaking out. And he asked me if I was on something and I said, 'No. This is just me.'"

Last but not least, we have the one and only Justin Bieber, who found himself starstruck upon meeting hockey legend Wayne Gretzky. During an appearance on The Talk, a surprised Bieber's jaw dropped as the athlete walked out for a quick game of air hockey. After Gretzky left the stage, Justin bashfully asked his hosts, "Why'd you do that? You made me look like a groupie or something!"

If we can learn anything from Selena, Jennifer, and Justin, it's that feeling starstruck is completely normal -- even celebrities are in awe of celebrities! Have you ever felt starstruck around someone else? If so, who was it? Did you hide under a table or play it cool? Either way, there's nothing wrong with feeling a little starstruck every once in a while!
