The best part of the American Idol results show every year is that it's basically a two-hour concert with five minutes of results at the end. It's always great to see the contestant back together on the Idol stage! We love tuning into the great performances and sweet moments, and last night's finale was even better than ever.
M counts down our top five Idol finale moments here:
5) The contestants sing the phonebook -- LOL! Since judge Randy Jackson always uses the phrase, "you could sing the phonebook" the Idols decided to put it to the test:
4) Jordin Sparks performs with Hollie Cavanagh!
3) Judge Jennifer Lopez performs!
2) Ex-Idol contestants Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo get engaged! Join us in saying "Aww!"
And finally...
1) Phillip Phillips wins American Idol!
Let's dish:
-Which of these is your fave moment from last night's finale? Which other moments would you add to the list?
Tonight may be the mid-season finale of ABC Family's Jane By Design, but have no fear -- the show was picked up for at least eight more episodes to air this summer! We recently caught up with Jane herself, Ms. Erica Dasher, at a fun fashion event at Bloomingdales in NYC. She dished to us all about what it's like to be on the show. Check it out here:
M: Hey, Erica! What has been your favorite scene to film so far in the series?
Erica: Honestly, Paris was pretty incredible. We got to go for a couple of days and we wrapped the season in front of the Eiffel Tower. They said, "Season wrap!" and it was eight o'clock, and the Eiffel Tower lit up. I definitely got a little misty eyed. It was pretty great. Also, anything where there are a lot of cast members together. In episode ten, the final episode, there is a lot happening and we all get to be in the same room. We really feed off each other's energy. It's really fun.
M: So, you get along really well with the whole cast?
Erica: I do! I'm very fortunate! Everyone really cares about the material and we all really care about each other. We want the show to be great and so, it's a blessing.
M: Sounds amazing! Obviously, the show is all about fashion! Has there ever been an outfit that you've wanted to keep?
Erica: I want to keep all of the clothes! It's so disappointing to come home to my own closet. I think my favorite outfit is -- I wear this pair of tweed trousers, by Rachel Roy, in episode nine. At first, when I saw them I wasn't sure, but then I put them on and instantly fell in love. They make me feel like Annie Hall!
M: Do you ever get to keep anything?
Erica: No! I have to give it all back, but they let me borrow stuff, which is pretty cool.
M: How would you say your style is similar to Jane's?
Erica: Well, Jane's style is definitely bold. She's not afraid to take risks, but there's an underlying current of femininity to her stuff and I think I have a lot of very feminine pieces in my wardrobe. I wear a lot of vintage. I love that 1950's silhouette with the cinched waist, and I like the flowy skirts.
M: So, Jane obviously has this double life. If you had a double life, and weren't an actress, what would your secret side career be?
Erica: I'm really fascinated by people. I feel like if I wasn't acting or involved in the arts--I would become a psychiatrist. I can see that as a path for myself.
Thanks for chatting, Erica! You can catch the mid-season finale of Jane By Design on ABC Family, tonight at 8pm!

The Wizards of Waverly Place finale is just two days away, and we'll have to say buh-bye to the Russo fam forever! In this vid, Jennifer Stone and Gregg Sulkin tell us what they'll miss most about Wizards:
We've been watching the drama unfold on The X Factor for weeks now and it's finally coming down the wire: The top three contestants, 19-year old Melanie Amaro, 30-year old Josh Krajcik and 28-year old Chris Rene, are left and only one will be crowned the winner TONIGHT!
The question is: Who do you want to win tonight? Who are you rooting for?
Make sure to tune into the live finale tonight from 8 PM to 10 PM EST on FOX to see who wins. Plus, the night is full of surprises and guest performances -- including Justin Bieber (who is reportedly doing a duet to "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" with Drew Ryniewicz), Ne-Yo, Pitball and Leona Lewis. Exciting!
We'll definitely be tuning in -- will you?

Last night was a jam-packed American Idol finale! Besides past Idols returning, a big tribute to Simon Cowell (this was his last season as a judge), a winner was crowned this year's Idol -- and the title went to Lee DeWyze!
Let's dish:
-Are you happy that Lee won? Will you still watch Idol next year without Simon?
