Looks like the X Factor isn't the only show getting new judges!
Hey M Girls,
Now that X Factor has secured superstar judges like Demi Lovato and Britney Spears, looks like American Idol is trying to up its game as well! There has been lots of buzz about new judges coming on to the show, and recent reports say that producers have Miley Cyrus at the top of their list! (Remember when Mi was being considered for Demi's X Factor job?)
Since none of the current judges have confirmed their return for the next season, producers are looking at other celebs like Katy Perry, Fergie and Nicki Minaj to jump on board as well -- we'll keep you guys posted as soon as more information is released!
-Do you think Miley would make a good Idol judge? Who else would you like to judge next season?
We were lucky enough to be invited to Aventura Cove Palace (soon to be the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya) in Riviera Maya, Mexico for their annual "Summer With the Stars" concert series -- where we got to hang out with Twilight's Kiowa Gordon, our fave past American Idol contestants like Aaron Kelly and Karen Rodriguez, and X Factor's Drew Ryniewicz and Nick Dean, amongst many other celebs!
First, we caught up with them on the hotel's red carpet before the concert. Check out our exclusive videos!
X Factor's Drew Ryniewicz tells us what she thinks of the new X Factor judges:
Kiowa Gordon spilled a fun fact about Taylor Lautner and talked Breaking Dawn!
Jessie's Chris Galya spilled what Debby Ryan was really like and talked about upcoming episodes!
Idol's Karen Rodriguez, who was on the Idol season with winner Scotty McCreery, sends a shout out to him!
Idol's Aaron Kelly told us his fave summer memory!
Idol's Tim Urban spilled his fave summer memory!
Idol's Katie Stevens tells us her summer memory:
Cool! Then we were off to the star-studded concert, where we taped these awesome performances -- for M Girls only!
Nick Dean sings Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain"
Drew Ryniewicz sings Taylor Swift's "Eyes Open"
Katie Stevens sings Demi Lovato's "Skyscraper"
Tim Urban sings Jason Mraz's "I Won't Give Up"
Aaron Kelly sings Rascal Flatt's "Fast Cars and Freedom"
Katie Stevens and Aaron Kelly sing "It's Your Love"
Wow! Following that amazing concert, we caught up with the stars the following day at the hotel's carnival, where Karen and Drew enjoyed some cotton candy!
We talked to Drew about her upcoming music plans and we wondered if she was getting closer to fellow X Factor friend, Nick Dean, who we kept seeing together, but she insisted to us that she was single and they were "just friends!"
When we met up with Nick Dean, we got all the scoop on why he left InTENsity:
Such a fun time!
So let's dish:
-Who's your all-time fave Idol and X Factor contestant? Do you think Drew and Nick should date?

-Do you want to see Jessica on Glee? Which other ex-Idol contestants should make an appearance?
The best part of the American Idol results show every year is that it's basically a two-hour concert with five minutes of results at the end. It's always great to see the contestant back together on the Idol stage! We love tuning into the great performances and sweet moments, and last night's finale was even better than ever.
M counts down our top five Idol finale moments here:
5) The contestants sing the phonebook -- LOL! Since judge Randy Jackson always uses the phrase, "you could sing the phonebook" the Idols decided to put it to the test:
4) Jordin Sparks performs with Hollie Cavanagh!
3) Judge Jennifer Lopez performs!
2) Ex-Idol contestants Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo get engaged! Join us in saying "Aww!"
