Allstar Weekend just premiered their new music video for "Blame It on September" and we absolutely love the tune -- and how H-0-T they all look in the vid! The song is the first single off their album All The Way, which hits next Tuesday! Check out the video:
Just last week, we shared with you Allstar Weekend's exclusive chat with us regarding bandmember Nathan, who decided not to tour with the boys this summer on Selena and The Scene's tour. Now, the boys confirmed on their Facebook and Twitter this weekend that Nathan has officially left the band. They said:
To Our Fans,
Things in life don't always end up exactly how you first planned, hoped, or envisioned. More than anything, we wanted this band to work out with Nathan in it, but as our band progressed, he went on a different path both professionally and personally, and we mutually decided to part ways. We didn't tell you until now because nothing was 100% definite until very recently. The details are between us and Nathan, and while we're sure everyone will ask what happened (for the record, he is happy and healthy), it's a personal matter that needs to stay within the band. Please respect both Nathan and us with this very difficult decision. Most importantly, this doesn't change who we are, the music we play, the passion we put into this band, what we stand for, or our love for our fans.
Eric filled in on guitar only for the summer, and now we will begin our search for a new, permanent member of Allstar Weekend.
We have a new record coming out on September 27th called "All The Way" that we put a ton of heart and soul into, and we can't wait for you to get it. In January & February 2012, we will be headlining a full US tour with select dates in Canada in support of "All The Way." As always, we can't wait to see and meet you.
To all of our fans who stood by us during this difficult transitional period - we want you to know that we love you and thank you for your never-ending support. You are the reason we are here.
Zach, Cameron & Michael
We'll miss you, Nathan!
-What do you think about Allstar Weekend's news? Are you surprised Nathan left? Do you think the band will be OK without him?
If you're like me, there's nothing you love more than catchin' up with your besties on the latest celeb goss. Did you ever read the latest issue of M and wonder, what's it like behind-the-scenes there? I was at home wondering that myself just a few months ago, and now here I am wrapping up my last day at the mag! My name is Hillary and I had a blast interning at M -- I got to interview all kinds of stars and attend some awesome events...and now I'm going to share my experience with you girls!
From the get-go, this internship was super exciting! On my very FIRST day, I interviewed Lucas Till on the red carpet at the premiere of X-Men: First Class. My first red carpet was awesome, and my second, the Monte Carlo premiere, was no less exciting. Selena's dress was stunning, and Justin Bieber even made a surprise appearance! (Can you find Sel in the pic above being interviewed right behind me?).
The premieres are glamorous, but by far my favorite part of interning has been interviewing stars one-on-one. The first celeb I sat down with was Cody Simpson. Cody's a total sweetheart and his down-to-earth 'tude def put me at ease. I interviewed Cody backstage in his trailer at KFEST, a huge radio station concert in NY with tons of cool artists. Cody and I were backstage, about to do the interview when who comes running over to say "hi" but Allstar Weekend's Cameron and Nathan. Cody introduced us, and I was swooning over Cam!
Flash forward a few months and I'm sitting down with Allstar Weekend in NYC! The guys were just a goofy in person as they are in their hilarious YouTube vids. My fave part was probably when I asked Zach about "James," the new song about Cameron on All The Way. Michael joked, "It's a love story about Zach and Cameron. To which the Zach replied, "Uh, no, not really." with Cameron adding, "Don't even put that out there. People already think weird stuff." I of course, couldn't help blurting out, "Zameron?" and we all just starting cracking up. Highlight of the day? Hmm... prob tied between Cameron remembering me from the meet-and-greets I've seen them that or Zach singing "Mr. Wonderful" to me. Gooood times.
I was lucky enough to chat with so many great stars. Victorious' Daniella Monet and Jessica Jarrell def stand out in my mind because interviewing them was more like a sleepover -- except instead of talking about that guy in homeroom...Jess is giving me scoop on the Biebs and Cody Simpson and Daniella's spilling on Avan, Leon, and the BTR guys!
Speaking of the Big Time Rush guys, did I mention I saw them in concert not once, but twice this summer? The guys are too nice! In fact, when I ran into James Maslow backstage at an event and called him "Jamez," he laughed, and I could tell he appreciated that I watched the show.
My final exciting event for the summer was going to see Joe Jonas perform at NYC's Fashion's Night Out. I was right in the front, Camp Rock's Anna Maria Perez de Tagle was pretty much the only one in front of me, and I shot a great vid for all you M Girls!
Overall, I had THE best summer here! And if you're passionate about entertainment and journalism, I encourage you to pursue it in school! Things like participating in my school newspaper and being an active tweeter are what helped me land this position. Who knows, maybe you could be in my shoes sometime soon?
XOXO M Girls,
So let's dish:
-Which star would you be most excited to hang with? What's your fave behind-the-scenes story?
When we recently hung with Cameron, Zach and Michael in NYC, the guys exclusively confided in M about the situation. When asked if fans could expect Nathan to rejoin at some point, Zach replied:"Yep. Basically, where we are right now, ball's in Nathan's court. Nathan's taking a break from the band and uh, we're tryin' to be supportive of him, whatever he decides is up to him, and um, we'll leave it at that. We can't talk about what his situation is; it's kind of his position." With Cameron chiming in, "If he wants people to know, he'll tell people."
And with the ball in Nathan's court, it looks like he might be reaching out. Just yesterday, Cameron's sister, Anna, tweeted that Nathan was at the Quiseng's family business,The Hair Zone, saying:
The tweet left us wondering... will Nathan be back sometime soon!? The guys cleared up the rumors with an official statement, saying:
Hmm... looks like no final decision's been made just yet, but as always, they guys have the fans in mind. We'll keep you posted!
So let's dish:
-Do you want to see Zach, Cameron, Michael AND Nathan all back together? Are you planning on picking up ASW's new album, All The Way Sept. 27th?
If you've caught a show on the We Own The Night tour this summer, you know Selena Gomez totes brings her hit songs to life when she bust a move with her crew of way talented back-up dancers. But does Sel have room for one more dancer... maybe her good pal and tour-mate, Cameron Quiseng?
The latest YouTube video of Cameron's dance moves that Allstar Weekend posted is seriously impressive. Cam manages to kill some way difficult choreography, and still look adorable while doing it! The guys explained, "Cameron has been working on his dance moves so that he can become a back-up dancer on a big tour. Here is his progress" LOL, maybe you discovered a good second career there, Cameron!
You can check out the vid here:
So let's dish:
What did you think of Cameron's dance moves? Do you think the Allstar Weekend guys should add dancing to their shows?
Don't forget to pick up M's new issue -- it's on stands NOW and it's the perfect holiday weekend treat! Score star scoop and a FREE necklace!

Check it out here:
So let's dish:
Who do you think had the funniest tour must-haves, Cameron, Michael or Zach? What is the one thing you can't live without?
Allstar Weekend's new single, "Blame It On September" just hit iTunes! This song, the follow-up to their hit single, "Not Your Birthday" is getting us even more excited for their upcoming album, All The Way. And the A-Dub boys can't wait for you to hear their new music either, Cameron shared:
Allstar Weekend's drummer Michael Martinez is celebrating his 22nd birthday today! For once, the "Not Your Birthday" band member will be partying like it IS his birthday with his band and tour-mate Selena Gomez!
You can leave your birthday wishes for Mikey here... and be sure to catch Allstar Weekend & Selena Gomez on tour through the rest of the summer!
