Sonny With a Chance

Hey M Girls-

For months there has been talk that Demi would not return to her Disney show Sonny With A Chance, and today (sadly) it has been confirmed. Dem just gave an interview where she spilled:

"It made sense for me to go ahead and leave the show to focus on my music. It's kind of sad for me that a chapter of my life has ended, but there couldn't be a better time for me to move on. I don't think going back to Sonny would be healthy for my recovery. Being in front of a camera would make me nervous."

After spending months in a rehabilitation center working on "emotional issues," Demi's doctors finally felt she was healthy enough to leave and head back home to LA. This weekend Dem was spotted smiling and happy as she hit up a mall close to her house and had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory.

We're so happy that Demi's back on the road to recovery. If you could talk to Demi today, would would you say to her? What do you want Demi to do now that she's healthy again: Go back to working on Sonny With A Chance work more on music? Comment back!

With Demi in a treatment facility to deal with "personal and emotional issues," Disney Channel is planning on re-working her show, Sonny With a Chance, to concentrate more on the So Random! show while Demi recovers. The upcoming third season will feature So Random guest stars, comedy sketches, and musical performances, which will resume filming in January, so Dem has time to concentrate on her needs. Disney said: "This allows her the time she needs to get well, without distraction or pressure. Again, we extend our ongoing support to Demi and her family as she works to overcome personal issues."

Sterling Knight recently said in an interview that Joe Jonas will be guest-starring on Sonny With a Chance for a special holiday episode!

"It's going to be a big deal," Sterling spilled.

With their concert tour and now this episode, these two sure are spending a lot of time together!

Sunday night is going to be awesome! Not only is Selena guest starring on Sonny With a Chance, but JB's also premiering their new music video for Fly With Me!

First off on Sonny, the episode is titled "Battle of the Networks' Stars", and Chad (Sterling Knight) hires Selena to play Sonny (Demi) in a movie he's producing! So Selena gets to play Demi for one day -- how fun! Make sure to catch it June 7 at 8:30 pm ET/PT on Disney!

And JB's new video for their song "Fly With Me" that you might've heard if you watched Night at the Museum 2 will also hit Sunday on the Disney Channel! Woohoo!
