Some of our fave stars got together recently at the Disney Upfront event in NYC and we were front and center on the red carpet to get all the latest scoop!
The event featured performances by "Good Luck Charlie" actress and popstar, Bridgit Mendler, "Austin and Ally's", Ross Lynch, and Disney's Next Big Thing winners, Chloe & Halle. Laura Marano, also from "Austin and Ally", along with Dove Cameron, a newcomer to Disney who will be starring in the new series "Liv & Maddie," also made appearances!

This year has been a major year for movie musicals -- and it's about to get even better! Disney Channel has just announced that their new flick Teen Beach Movie will premiere July 19 -- just in time for summer sing-alongs! And the M staff actually got to go to an early screening of it the other day!
The flick stars Ross Lynch and Maia Mitchell as two surfers who get taken back in time where they end up being part of the cast in one of their fave classic beach movie "Wet Side Story". Once there, it's surfers vs. bikers in an epic battle for the coveted beach hangout!
This film is totes another reason to look forward to summer! Be sure to keep checking back on mmm-mag.com for all the deets!

Nowadays we all know Ross Lynch as the superstar singer of his family band R5 and as the swoon-worthy Austin Moon on Austin & Ally, but not too long ago Ross was just another young actor hoping to get his big break!
In this throwback vid, check out 13-year-old Ross as he auditions for a spot on The Disney Channel-- looks like his hard work paid off!
How cute is that? We're so proud of how far Ross has come!

We're kinda obsessed with Ross Lynch's family band, R5 -- and they just released the video premiere for their new single, "Loud." When the vid came out, the Austin & Ally cutie tweeted: i think it's official, i am girl crazy and proud of it."

Hey M Girls!
Ross Lynch who stars in Austin & Ally has a new song called 'Loud' with his band R5. A little less than a year ago, the band signed with Hollywood Records.
The band consists of Ross, his siblings (Riker, Rydel and Rocky) plus their bestie Ratliff.
R5's debut EP, 'Loud' is set to be released Feb. 19 -- we can't wait!
