Record Deal

Hey M Girls,

One of our fave groups from X Factor, Fifth Harmony, just signed their very first record deal! And although they came in third place on the show, yesterday, Simon Cowell hinted about the big news, tweeting, "Maybe it's time for a large dose of girl power..." Then, this morning, he announced it was official, saying, "To all the harmonisers. Thank you for all the support. Happy to confirm we have signed fifth harmony."

We're totes excited! Congrats!

Did you fall in love with the guys of Emblem3 on X Factor this past season? If so, we've got some exciting new deets about what's next for Wesley, Keaton and Drew and it's pretty exciting! Last month, we asked the boys if they thought they'd get a record deal and Keaton said, "Rumor has it, yes." Guess he was right, because the swoon-worthy singers just signed a record deal with Syco Music and Columbia Records. Congrats guys!

We are so proud of our fave YouTube singer Austin Mahone -- he just signed with a record label! Austin announced the happy news to his Mahomies last night, tweeting: "The BIG NEWS is that I'm officially signed to a record label!!!(: Chase/Universal Republic!! You guys are SO AMAZING!!<3 I wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart because you all are the reason I'm here and I'm so thankful<3"

Big congrats to Zendaya! She just signed with Hollywood Records (like Selena Gomez, Bridgit Mendler, Lucy Hale, and Ross Lynch have done before), and is so pumped about it! Zendaya tweeted with the pic above of signing the deal next to her dad: "Epic moment in my life...it's official!!! HOLLYWOOD RECORDS!!!

Z has a lot of celebrate -- not only with her new record deal, but this past weekend, she kicked off her Swag It Out tour, which will run through September. So fun!

Next stop for this Pretty Little Liar? The mic! Lucy Hale just signed a record deal with Hollywood Records and she couldn't be more excited about it. She says, "I'm overjoyed and honored to become a member of the Hollywood Records family. I've admired the careers they've made and can't wait to see how my musical path is paved out."

When the news hit, Lucy tweeted to fans: "It's going to be different from anything you've ever heard from the label and not what you'd expect from me. Thanks for the support!"

We can't wait to hear more! Expect Lucy's album in 2013.

Hey M Girls!

Every time we hang with cutie Ross Lynch, who stars in Austin & Ally, it's clear music is a big passion of his -- he's even in a band with his siblings and best friend, called R5, and they've been working hard on music for a few months now. Well, their hard work has paid off since it was just announced that they scored a record deal with Hollywood Records!

Right now, Ross, Riker, Rocky and Rydel and their best friend Ratliff are recording their EP, set to release early 2013 and they're also heading on their first headline touring next month! Check out tour dates after the jump.

Congrats to Ross and R5 -- can't wait to hear their music!
