Nowadays we all know Ross Lynch as the superstar singer of his family band R5 and as the swoon-worthy Austin Moon on Austin & Ally, but not too long ago Ross was just another young actor hoping to get his big break!

In this throwback vid, check out 13-year-old Ross as he auditions for a spot on The Disney Channel-- looks like his hard work paid off!

How cute is that? We're so proud of how far Ross has come!

We're kinda obsessed with Ross Lynch's family band, R5 -- and they just released the video premiere for their new single, "Loud." When the vid came out, the Austin & Ally cutie tweeted: i think it's official, i am girl crazy and proud of it."

Hey M Girls!

Ross Lynch who stars in Austin & Ally has a new song called 'Loud' with his band R5. A little less than a year ago, the band signed with Hollywood Records.

The band consists of Ross, his siblings (Riker, Rydel and Rocky) plus their bestie Ratliff.

R5's debut EP, 'Loud' is set to be released Feb. 19 -- we can't wait!

Hey M Girls!

Every time we hang with cutie Ross Lynch, who stars in Austin & Ally, it's clear music is a big passion of his -- he's even in a band with his siblings and best friend, called R5, and they've been working hard on music for a few months now. Well, their hard work has paid off since it was just announced that they scored a record deal with Hollywood Records!

Right now, Ross, Riker, Rocky and Rydel and their best friend Ratliff are recording their EP, set to release early 2013 and they're also heading on their first headline touring next month! Check out tour dates after the jump.

Congrats to Ross and R5 -- can't wait to hear their music!
