Hey Girls-

Phew! 2009 was a full of juicy celeb news and gossip. In honor of the end of the year, we're counting down the 25 stories that had everyone talking! Check back here every day to read and remember the stuff that had you going "OMG!" Here's Story #1 in our countdown.

New Moon casting drama

Members of "Team Taylor" were biting their nails and holding their breath until early January. That's when it was officially announced that Taylor Lautner would, in fact, be coming back as Jacob in New Moon. Fans were also excited to hear that Dakota Fanning would be joining the cast as Jane.

This is a HUGE week for two of our fave cuties: Taylor (New Moon opens 11/20) and Justin (his CD drops today)! The thing is, we here at M just can't decide who we love more! So what do you think? Who's hotter: Taylor or Justin? Comment back below!

What's up M Girls? Lauren here. Another week has passed and it keeps getting colder where I live! I'm not a fan of cold weather or wind that could lift me off the ground. But this weekend I'll be camping with some of my friends, so I'm excited for that (no matter how cold it is!).

So (FINALLY!) in less than a month, New Moon will coming out! I bet most of you are excited -- because I know I am! First, let me say that I am completely Team Jacob! I've read all four books at least twice, and fell in love with Taylor Lautner's character. Once I found out he got the role of Jacob Black in New Moon, I was so pumped! And the best part is, I'm lucky enough to be going to my town's midnight premiere the night the movie comes out with my friends! Yay!

I'm leaving to go camping soon, so I gotta go! But real quick, do you think you'll be seeing New Moon when it comes out November 20? What about any other movies you've been wanting to see?

I just played it very naturally, like, if you have these special powers -- like Edward has the ability to read minds -- it's not like he's going to [get overly dramatic] and go, 'You're hungry! It's a natural thing, like the human ability to smell or to hear is a natural ability. To affect the mental state of anyone around you, i kept it all right in the eyes. Just thinking it and transferring it through the eyes, which are the windows to the soul -- even to the soulless."

When did Ashley Greene realize how big Twilight was? She dishes: "When I heard about the casting, I realized it was a book series, but then I was looking on IMDb and saw a bunch of entries already. I read the books once I found out about the project. My managers told me about the meeting, and there was no script, no breakdown. So I bought the book and read it in a day and a half, and I got hooked and read the full three before I even got cast!"
