Here at M, we were so excited when we heard one of our fave book series, The Mortal Instruments is being made into a movie. To make things even better, the film will feature some familiar faces as the two leads: Abduction star Lily Collins will play Clary Fray and The Twilight Saga star Jamie Campbell Bower will play Jace Wayland -- OMG!

In the movie, the duo must band together to find Clary's mother while fighting a few vampires and werewolves in the process. The Mortal Instruments is set to release in 2012.

Here's today's tidbit:

Yesterday, we told you that the Volturi cast, Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen and Jamie Campbell-Bower arrived in Vancouver to start filming their scenes. And turns out, all three of them are staying at the same Vancouver hotel -- along with Selena Gomez who's in Vancouver filming Ramona and Beezus!

Hey M Girls!

Jamie Campbell-Bower (who you may remember from Sweeney Todd) has officially joined the New Moon cast as the Volturi leader, Caius. Jamie heads up to Canada to join the rest of the New Moon cast filming in June.
