When Rachel Crow stopped by the M office recently, she had lots of scoop for us about her guest starring role as Starr on FRED: THE SHOW! On tonight's new episode called "Class Election", Fred chooses Starr to help him with his campaign for class president, but things go a little crazy when Starr decides to run herself. -Are you a fan of Rachel Crow? What do you think about FRED: THE SHOW!?
M: When you were younger, did you ever think opportunities like going on tour and starring in your own TV show would happen for you? Rachel: Absolutely not. I always dreamed big, but I never thought my dreams would come true until now. It's been amazing, and I can't even believe it.
M: Are you excited for your upcoming summer tour? Were you always fans of BTR? Rachel: Of course! I always thought they were cute!
M: What has it been like to film a few different episodes of Fred: The Show on Nickelodeon? Rachel: it's amazing. The experience of filming for the show has been outstanding. I had a great time. The whole cast and crew are amazing. They're really nice people and it's a great first set for me to work on.
M: What's your favorite part about playing your character? Rachel: Playing my character Starr has been amazing. I'm fun and spunky and I have a different outfit for every single day. I go from a penguin dress to a rock star. So I have glitter everywhere literally.
M: Is it a good first step before working on your upcoming pilot with Nick? Rachel:Yes! I can't wait for my pilot. Hopefully that will come soon. We're still in the very early stages of that but I really want it to be fun and spunky and retro and very me, and I want it to reach to boy and girl audiences.
M: Any words of wisdom for our readers to follow their dreams? Rachel: They are very supported, especially by me. Whatever you want to do, you set your mind to it. And never lose sight of who you are because that's the most important thing!
