Hey M Girls!
The Bonus Jonas is following in his older brothers footsteps and we couldn't me more excited about it! Frankie will be appearing in a special Halloween series on The Hub airing this Saturday, the 29, in an episode of R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series -- where he will be visiting a spooky pumpkin patch. Sounds scary! M talked to Frankie exclusively about the episode and all things Halloween, including his most embarrassing Halloween costume EVER!
M: We're excited to see your Halloween episode but also a little scared! What can we expect?
FJ: Well, what can I tell you? The episode, in my thoughts, was the scariest episode of the Haunting Hour that I had ever seen. Not just cause I'm in it, but like seriously. And the whole thing is intense every second. There's another corner that you don't expect.
M: Were you scared while filming it?
FJ: It was pretty scary, one of the night shoots we had to film in one these really creepy houses made out of hay and plywood. So it really creeps you out.
M: What's the scariest thing that's ever happened to you?
FJ: Oh, do I have a good story for you. OK, so when I was younger like I know this sounds weird, but me and my friend were ghost hunters, we thought we were ghost hunters. So, in our house in LA, there was this park behind it and we were investigating, like we watched Ghost Hunters, the show and like we'd studied it and say, 'OK, let's do this'. So, I was going on a solo search, with the camera, but the camera was on the ground because I was so scared and then there was this creepy bench, which I now know why it was always so creepy and weird because it's a memorial for someone. I didn't know that. Then, so, I see this black shadow that's sitting down on the bench and I see the red eyes in the back of its head. I swear this is the real, true story. The figure gets up it turns around, and starts walking towards me through the bench. I just start running full speed and I have my camera, but it was on the ground the whole time because I thought I was getting the shot but I didn't, it was just on the grass so I did not get the shot. But, then we did it, we investigated three more times, and the same thing happened every time.
M: You kept seeing the same figure?
FJ: We kept seeing the same figure and sometimes at night I can still see it. It's right by my house but the first time we saw it, it was by this fire pit we have in the backyard and the fire wasn't on, but I saw in embers -- it was like a little face, and right after that we saw the guy.
M: That's freaky.
FJ: We called him 'The Fire Man'.
M: What are your Halloween plans this year? What are you hoping to be?
FJ: This year to celebrate the Haunting Hour, I'm being a pumpkin head.
M: Oh, that's perfect.
FJ: And every year I make my own costume, so it's going to work out really awesome.
M: What's been your most memorable costume in the past years?
FJ: The most memorable, if I had to say one it'd probably be my first one, when I was like 3 or 4 actually, my grandpa, I used to love care bears when I was really little, you know. For Halloween, we were going to this church thing and he bought me a costume. He bought me the grumpy bear costume.
M: Cute!
FJ: But it was for a girl. (Laughing). So, it didn't fit me correctly and you know you're at an all time low when Peter Pan and a tree make fun of you.
M: Aw.
FJ: Yeah but they were pretty sad when I said to Peter Pan, 'Nice tights.'
M: Nice tights, that's funny.
FJ: Yeah
