In some heartbreaking celeb news, Miley Cyrus' adorable and beloved pup Lila passed away this afternoon.
A few hours ago, Mi tweeted: "can't think of one good reason to get out of bed today, for everyone asking... I have never been so hurt in my life. My heart has never been so broken..... Lila my sweet baby girl has passed away. Gonna go MIA for a bit. Need some healing time. Thank you to everyone who has sent love my way. I need it."

Have you seen Lauren Conrad's new pet pooch, Fitz? He's super cute.
"After Atlanta, I got to come home for a couple days...and what did I do? I went to an animal shelter 'just to look.' And we all know it never ends that way," Lauren shared.
FYI: Lauren named her new pup Fitz after F. Scott Fitzgerald, who is the author of her favorite book, "The Great Gatsby." What great idea!

Yesterday, we told you how Justin and Selena were spotted being super-sweet together in Canada, and that they visited an animal shelter and expressed interested in adopting a dog. Well, the two did indeed get a dog! Justin and Selena got a 10-week old husky mix from D'Archy's A.R.C, an animal rescue shelter in Winnipeg, Canada. Sources say that Selena went through the screening process and was able to leave with the puppy, which she named Baylor. Yesterday, Selena showed off Baylor to her fans in London while she was there on tour. So where did the name "Baylor" come from? Well, Baylor University is a top Christian school in Waco, Texas, and Selena was wearing a Baylor University sweatshirt yesterday while she was holding the puppy, so she may have a special connection to that school.
Selena also posted the above pic to her Instagram, writing:
After 12 hours of medicine, tea, 1374 cans of soup and throwing up right when I get off stage ending my night with Baylor watching friends is perfect. I can't thank you enough London for tonight I'm so sorry I was sick. I love you guys so much

Breaking news M Girls!
Twilight's Ashley Greene just tweeted that her beloved dog Marlo (pictured above with her smaller puppy, Theodore) was rushed to the hospital after being attacked by another dog. Below are her distraught tweets:
UPDATE: Ashley tweeted last night: "Marlo is now stable. No damaged organs. She just may need surgery for damaged muscle. You guys are so amazing for the thoughts and prayer....I am SO excited to come home and pick up Marlo from the dr tomorrow! I hope it's sunny."
Yay--we're so happy Marlo is going to be OK! Send Ashley your good wishes here and we'll keep you up-to-date on Marlo's status when we get it!
