Hey M Girls!

Last night at the People's Choice Awards, Demi Lovato won the "Favorite Pop Artist" award against Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Rihanna and Katy Perry -- wowza!

Demi wasn't the only big winner last night. Taylor Swift took home the "Favorite Country Artist" award and Katy Perry was named "Favorite Female Artist," even though she wasn't at the event. What a huge night!

After the show, Demi immediately tweeted: My fans are EVERYTHING to me... My world, my life... Thank you SO much for my PCA!!!! FAVORITE POP ARTIST!!! YAYYY!!! Congrats, Dem!!

Not only did Demi win, but she also gave a rockin' performance of her latest hit, "Give Your Heart A Break." We think she sounded great!

Tonight, Demi will be taking the stage at the 38th annual People's Choice Awards, but she won't just be there as a performer! Dem was nominated for "Favorite Pop Artist" against Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Katy Perry -- we can't wait to see who wins!

Sadly, Katy won't be in attendance tonight. She tweeted: "Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the People's Choice Awards. I want to thank u all for voting for me, fingers crossed! #KATYCATS." Aww!

Taylor Swift is also up for three awards, including Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Country Artist. Good luck, Tay! We're rooting for you!

Students in Harlem got the surprise of their lives yesterday when Beyoncé showed up at their dance performance -- and jumped in to join them! Check out the awesome video below:

Awww, so sweet. We don't know if we'd be able to keep dancing if Beyoncé suddenly showed up next to us. LOL!

Did you watch the Grammys last night? Our fave part of the evening is always checking out what the stars are rockin' on the red carpet. Last night there were some definite hits and misses. Here's what we thought of Grammy 2010 fashion:

BEST DRESSED

Taylor didn't veer too far from her comfort zone (she loves wearing sparkles on the red carpet), but this electric blue made her really stand out at the awards.

Fergie does "the mini dress" to perfection. Plus, her tan is total bronze goddess, not orange Oompa Loompa.

Miley has this red carpet thing DOWN. Loving that teal on her, and the shoes are ferosh.

Justin looked both dressy and comfy at the ceremony. We think it's great that he stayed true to his unique style on the red carpet.

WORST DRESSED

Rihanna's known for taking fashion risks, but this dress just looks like she took a dip in a cotton candy machine before walking the red carpet. (On a sidenote: I REALLY want some cotton candy now! LOL!)

Loving the sparkle flowers on Katy's dress. Not loving how the beige color washes out her pale skin.

Sorry, Ciara, but it looks like your coat is eating you!

I want to like Beyonce's dress, but something just seems off about it.

AND...GAGA!

I have a really close group of friends but one of my friends is starting to dislike everyone in the group except for one of us. She's really mad at me because two of us have been hanging out a lot. Every time I got to talk to her she just ignores me. How do I get her to stop being so mad all the time?

And Beyonce's answer is:
"We all choose who we hang out with. The people you surround yourself with have a lot to do with who you are. When you're around people that have intelligent conversations then that's what you do. When you're around people who are negative, then they're going to bring you down and make you negative. So my first advice would be to pick people that you would like to be like. People that you admire, people that will bring good things to you. I was so happy that I started a group when I was young. My sister had a 'BFF Club' and her and her friends would get together and put a dollar a week to save up money and go get hotel rooms and watch movies and laugh. They were a positive group of friends. So why not form your own bff club? But have that protection around you with people that you love and you care about. That way, other people's negative opinions won't matter as much -- because your best of friends will be around to have your back!"

We had the amazing opportunity to hang out with Beyoncé this week before she took the stage for her "I AM..." tour here in New York City! She talked about a new campaign that she's passionate about called "Show Your Helping Hand," which works to fight hunger in America by collecting non-perishable food items before her concerts!

We were shocked to find out just how big of a problem hunger is in our country...and Beyoncé was, too! "This is really important to me because 1 in 8 Americans don't have food, and that was something that was really surprising to me," B said.

You can get involved, too! Beyoncé encourages her fans to visit www.showyourhelpinghand.com, where you can submit codes from specially marked boxes of Hamburger Helper to help fight hunger. She also says that fans who attend her show may donate food items at designated sites!

This is an awesome campaign that Beyoncé is working on, and we're so glad we got to hear her speak about it. And of course we took some exclusive pics to show you!
