Nicki Minaj on Staying Positive

Nicki2.jpeg

Nicki Minaj recently opened up about how Hollywood is just one big high school with 'popular' kids and cliques and pressure to be overly nice to certain people. How does Nicki cope? She just does her own thing:

"People treat this business like it's high school. It can absolutely feel like one big popularity contest, and you know what? I can't be bothered. I can't allow myself to play ridiculous games with grown adults in the industry. I can't be nice to someone just because they're hot right now. I can't do it."

What do you think? We've all heard about Nicki's occasional fights with Mariah and others. Do you think she's capable of escaping the 'high school' that is Hollywood?

Chloë Grace Moretz on the Importance of Being Nice in Hollywood

CGM.jpg There's nothing not to love about Chloë Grace Moretz, and the following quote confirms our sentiments. When asked about being nice to other people, Chloë told Nylon

"There are some actors in the world who aren't very good, but when you meet them they're the nicest people in the world and literally the most fun to work with. And you go, 'okay, that's why you work all the time. You're a fine actor, you can get the job done, but you're a great person to be around.' They'd rather pay millions of dollars to be around a fun person than a diva who ruins their day but who is amazing. Be a good actor, do your job, but also be nice because you have no reason to be a diva. There's never a reason for it."

 Preach it, Chloë!

Emma Watson on the Key to Achieving Your Goals

EmmaWatson1.jpg In a recent interview with GQ, Emma Watson revealed her secret -- she's worked really, really hard to get where she is right now. She doesn't use her money to "buy Mexico" or fly "from pole to pole and back again," she has normal relationships with non-famous guys, and when she sets her heart on something, she doesn't stop until she's put in a great amount of work. Basically, she's awesome:

"I really believe that you have to earn things. I don't feel comfortable unless I have worked really hard. I worked hard to get Hermione, and my mum has a video I did for the first audition and she has me doing the same take over and over, like 27 times from nine in the morning until five in the afternoon and I was just relentless. I wasn't sure I wanted to act, but I was sure I wanted this part."

ADVICE: Ed Sheeran on Dating

Ed_Instagram_Dating.jpg
We're big fans of a good sense of humor, so we're loving this new advice from Ed Sheeran. We think this rings true for friends, too. It's always great to surround yourself with silly people!

Ed told Glamour"Try to find someone with a sense of humor. That's an important thing to have because when you get into an argument, one of the best ways to diffuse it is to be funny. You don't want to hide away from a point because some points are serious, but you'd rather have a discussion that was a discussion, rather than an argument. I think if you have someone without a sense of humor, you're less likely to be together."

Do you agree? Let us know what you think!

Acting Helped Bella Thorne Overcome Dyslexia

Did you know that Bella Thorne is dyslexic? We definitely didn't! In a recent interview with Teen Vogue, Bella revealed that people would often doubt her ability as an actress because of her dyslexia. How silly is that?

Bella_Quote.jpg
You go, Bella Thorne! Do you or does anyone you know have dyslexia? One of my best friends has it, but she's feisty like Bella and became a writer anyway!

Miley's Advice to Justin Bieber

In a recent interview with Elle UK, Miley Cyrus had a little advice for Justin Bieber, who is always taking photos and sharing his life over Twitter and Instagram. After making some adjustments to her own online presence and becoming a much more private person, Miley thinks Justin should put down his iPhone camera and instead take snapshots with his mind.Miley Advice Bieber.jpg Miley explains, "I don't remember my Hannah Montana movie premiere. I don't remember being there. All I remember from that night is that I stopped and got a strawberry milkshake beforehand. That's all. It's crazy. You think you're in the present, but you're not."

What do you think? Would you be mad if Justin listened to Miley's advice and saw the world through his own eyes instead of his iPhone camera's lens? Or would it be good for him to live in the present and keep some memories for himself?

ADVICE: Emma Watson, Demi Lovato, and Taylor Swift on Being Teased

Did you see Emma Watson's touching MTV Trailblazer Award acceptance speech on Sunday? Not only did the former Harry Potter actress endlessly thank her fans for helping her grow into the person she wants to be, Emma also gave a bit of advice to those who have been "teased mercilessly" in school. Inspired by Emma's words, we gathered some extra advice on the matter from Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift, who were once similarly bullied.
